If you take the Vitranc 1 four-chairlift, you can continue your ride on the Vitranc 2 four- chairlift at the top, as the upper station of Vitranc 1 and the lower station of Vitranc 2 are located directly across from each other.
The Vitranc 2 chairlift takes you to the top of Vitranc (1.631 m), specifically to an elevation of 1.568 m, from where you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the Julian Alps, the Karawanks, neighbour countries Austria and Italy.
You can continue your hike along the ridge toward Ciprnik (1.747 m)—an easy hike, approx. 1 hour—or to Visoka peč (1.749 m).
Or you can simply enjoy the views and have a snack at Mojčin dom on Vitranc (1.555 m).
